Studio 17 by NoChintz

NoChintz Launch Studio 17

On Tuesday 01 June Studio 17, a brand new space for freelance and start-up creative businesses to call home, will be launched by interior designers NoChintz. The 2000 sq ft Studio 17 at 12 Hilton Street in the Northern Quarter has been designed and created by NoChintz. There are 24 individual desks available to rent at £250 + VAT a month.

Dominic Beardwell, operations director, NoChintz said: “At NoChintz we work with lots of freelance graphic and digital designers, photographers and artists. While many enjoy working on their own, they also miss the buzz of a busy environment – of having someone to bounce an idea off or get a second opinion from – so we decided to create Studio 17. We will be actively encouraging co-working and partnering to enable them to bid for some of the more exciting projects out there.

“We’ve already got a lot of interest in the space and expect it to fill up quickly. We have made it affordable and available on a month by month basis, there are no other charges on top of the rent to pay, which is really helpful to creative freelancers.”

Each desk has broadband, a set of drawers and access to large lockable storage cupboards. There is also a huge breakout space designed with creatives in mind with low seating, mini meeting tables and a large breakfast bar and kitchen area.

NoChintz has also created the Burgess Room (named after Manchester born author Anthony Burgess) at Studio 17 which can be hired for meetings and presentations.

NoChintz is operating and managing Studio 17 and once it proves a success they will be rolling it out to other locations in the city. Anyone interested in taking a desk at Studio 17 should contact Dominic at NoChintz on 0161 236 1412 or email studio17@nochintz.co.uk
